Include their names, as well as their owners' names and breed if you know it. This may seem like an extra step, but it's worth adding them to your list—especially if they're going to be traveling with you!</p> <h2>Invite them to the engagement shoot.</h2> <p>One of the best ways to get to know your photographer is by inviting them to shoot a session with you and your pet. Your engagement photoshoot is an opportunity to get comfortable with each other and make sure you’re on the same page before starting wedding shoots. You can also use this time to practice posing, getting in position, and working together as a team during the shoot (which will be crucial when it comes time for your big day).</p> <p>It may seem silly at first, but it’s actually quite easy! You can attach your pet's paw print by using a glue gun to adhere it to the coaster or by attaching it with some felt protection on top of the coaster. If you don't have access to either of those things, no worries—a permanent marker will do just fine! To get started, simply draw around your pet's paw print with the marker (make sure it's not too thick). Once you've drawn around their foot, use whatever means necessary (punching tool, scissors) to cut out the shape of their footprint from paper or cardstock paper. A good friend of mine did this last year when she got married. She found some plastic figurines online that looked like her dog (they had his name imprinted onto them) and painted them with food coloring and glitter glue until they were super cute!
